چکیده
Cyclic loading tests were conducted for eight composite joints (five interior and three exterior joints) with steel reinforced recycled concrete (SRRC) columns beams under cyclic loading. The axial compression ratio coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement percentage considered as the main design parameters above joints. seismic behavior of frame studied by numerical simulation constitutive models (RAC), reinforcement given to corresponding elements. experimental results used validate finite element (FE) model. indicated that FE model can accurately predict deformation stress load-strain curves Then, a parameter analysis was carried out on RAC strength, strength column web thickness parameters. Results pinpointed increase in significantly affected horizontal bearing capacity However, ability ductility almost unaffected. reasonable improve joints, evidently. On this basis, considering characteristics joint specimens, four broken line restoring force beam established. This includes skeleton curve model, stiffness degradation pattern hysteresis rules. calculation good agreement curves, which well reflect hysteretic subjected low repeated be reference

Investigation of Nonlinear Behavior of Composite Bracing Structures with Concrete Columns and Steel Beams (RCS) Applying Finite Element Method
The composite structural system (RCS) is a new type of moment frame, which is including a combination of concrete columns (RC) and steel beams (S). These structural systems have the advantages of both concrete and steel frames [1]. In previous research on composite structures, there are some studies regarding RCS composite conections, but there is no investigation about seismic resisting system...
متن کاملNonlinear Time-Dependent Behavior of Composite Steel-Concrete Beams
This paper presents a mixed finite element model for the nonlinear time-dependant analysis of composite beams with partial shear connection. The key idea is to consider, as a first approach, a viscoelastic/plastic model for the concrete slab in order to simulate the interaction between the time effects of concrete, such as creep and shrinkage, and the concrete cracking. Creep is taken into acco...
متن کاملRetrofitting of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Steel Fiber Reinforced Composite Jackets
In the present study, a new method for retrofitting reinforced concrete beam is introduced in which steel-concrete composite jackets containing steel fiber is used. For this purpose, 75% of the peripheral surface of reinforced concrete beams was initially reinforced using steel plates and bolts, and steel fiber reinforced concrete was used between the steel plates and the peripheral surfaces of...
متن کاملSeismic Behavior of Steel Reinforced Concrete Beam-Columns and Frames
The ability to perform accurate nonlinear simulations is a key component in the assessment of the behavior of seismic force resisting systems. A three-dimensional distributed plasticity formulation for composite beam-columns suitable for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of composite seismic force resisting systems has been developed. New uniaxial constitutive relations are developed for th...
